About

šŸ‘‹ Iā€™m Akram Hussein, co-founder and CTO of Vektor.

I graduated from Imperial College London with a Masters in Computer Science and was supervised by Professor Andrew Davison, a world leading Robotics expert.

Afterwards I worked at Dyson, where I was a very early member of the team that launched the Dyson 360 Eye, the company's first award-winning robotic vacuum cleaner.

Since leaving Dyson, I've been the first technical hire for multiple start ups and also contracted for a wide range of companies. In late 2020 I co-founded Vektor where I'm CTO.

You can also see me on TV starring as a Fixer on BBC2ā€™s Big Life Fix and I occasionally contribute to Wired.
