Akram Hussein
About
👋 I’m Akram Hussein, an independent full stack engineer originally from the UK, but now based in San Francisco, California, USA.
I graduated from Imperial College London with a Masters in Computer Science and was supervised by Professor Andrew Davison, a world leading Robotics expert.
Afterwards I worked at Dyson, where I was a very early member of the team that launched the Dyson 360 Eye, the company's first award-winning robotic vacuum cleaner.
Since leaving Dyson, I’ve been an independent engineer and have been the first technical hire for multiple start ups.
You can also see me on TV starring as a Fixer on BBC2’s Big Life Fix and I occasionally contribute to Wired.
