About
đź‘‹ I'm Akram Hussein.
I graduated from Imperial College London with a Masters in Computer Science and was supervised by Professor Andrew Davison, a world leading Robotics expert.
Afterwards I worked at Dyson, where I was a very early member of the team that launched the Dyson 360 Eye, the company's first award-winning robotic vacuum cleaner.
After leaving Dyson, I was the first technical hire for multiple start ups and also contracted for a wide range of companies.
In late 2020 I co-founded Vektor and was CTO - it was acquired by Nirvana Labs in September 2024 where I am currently VP of Engineering.
You can also see me on TV starring as a Fixer on BBC2's Big Life Fix and I contributed to Wired.Writing
